Events

 

You voluntarily assume all risks and danger incidental to the event for which the ticket is issued, whether occurring before, during or after the event, and you waive any claims for personal injury, lost items, or death against us, management, facilities, leagues, artists, other participants, and all of our respective parents, affiliated entities, agents, officers, directors, owners, and employees on behalf of yourself and any accompanying minor. You bear all risks of inclement weather. Event date and time are subject to change. Please see our full Terms of Use for additional limits on our liability.

You assume all risks, hazards, and dangers arising from or relating in any way to the risk of contracting a communicable disease or illness—including, without limitation, exposure to COVID-19 or any other bacteria, virus, or other pathogens capable of causing a communicable disease or illness, whether that exposure occurs before, during, or after the event, and regardless of how caused or contracted—and you hereby waive any and all claims and potential claims against EVTME, IGETCOMPED INC and the Event Organizer—and against any companies affiliated with EVTME, IGETCOMPED, or the Event Organizer—relating to such risks, hazards, and dangers.

You guarantee that you are legally age 21 or older and will provide a government ID for entry at any and all EVTME featured events in the United States. You also agree to not use illegal drugs and drink responsibly at any and all EVTME or EVTME partnered events for which you confirm attendance.  Inconsiderate behavior toward other guests, the venue, staff, hospitality partners, security or the event organizers will lead to removal at the event without ticket reimbursement.

 

Use of Electronic Devices at Events (Ex. Smartphones, WI-FI /Internet-Enabled Devices / Photography)

 

The use of electronic devices at some (not all) EVTME events and partnered events is prohibited if noted.  Events labeled no electronics/no photography will ask attendees to carefully check in their devices or leave them at home.  These events are to procure greater conversation and enhance the privacy of our attendees. Violation of this code will lead to removal at the event without ticket reimbursement.

 

Release and Waiver: Photo, video, and audio collected at EVTME featured and partnered events:

Some EVTME events will have photo coverage. You agree that EVTME may use your name, likeness, image, voice, and/or appearance as embodied on and/or in photographs, audio recordings and/or video recordings taken at or around the Event as part of EVTME's projects, including, without limitation, website(s), articles, press and press kits, supplemental materials for communications releases, broadcast presentations, and/or social media (“Work Product”), in any other media now known or hereafter devised, for any and all purposes that EVTME or its designees in their sole discretion may determine, including, without limitation, for promoting or publicizing EVTME and/or the Event or future EVTME events. This grant includes, without limitation, the right to modify, edit, mix or duplicate and to use or re-use the Work Product in whole or part as EVTME may elect. EVTME or its designees shall have complete ownership of the Work Product in which you appear, including copyright interests, and you acknowledge that you have no interest or ownership in the Work Product or the copyright in or to the Work Product and no right to inspect or approve the same. You hereby give all clearances, copyright and otherwise, for use of your name, likeness, image, voice, signature, appearance, and/or performance, on and/or in the Work Product. The rights granted to EVTME herein are perpetual and worldwide.
